Thanos’ Punch : Hits Overseas Box Office with a massive $39 M

The mega movie is already crushing records before it has been released worldwide.

The movie began screening in 21 international markets on Wednesday, 25^th April 2018. While the movie is yet to be released in the U.S and worldwide, it has already surpassed records in those 21 markets with a whopping opening-day gross of $39 M according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In South Korea, the movie bagged the title of top opening-day with $6.5 million.

It also broke the records in France by bagging the highest opening day in history for April title as well as the largest ever for a Marvel Cinematic Universe title with $3.5 million. In the Philippines ($2.7 million) and Thailand ($1.8 million), it secured the top opening day of all time.

However, in Australia, it was the second biggest opening day and remained behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens with $6.7 million.

In North America, the movie started screening from Thursday night. We will be updating you on the box office stats.

IW is to be released on 27^th April in the U.S. and most of the major international territories by this week… However, the film won't be released in Russia until May 3 and in China until May 11.

The domestic debut of the movie is expected to make $225 million, and upwards of $500 million worldwide by the end of this weekend.
